I have had some time to play around with Live Mesh. It is a great experience to be able to securely sync files between different machines. So far I have managed to replicate all of my music to my Media Center and in turn have my favorite music replicated to my laptop. Of course it takes a while when you have a lot of music but the sync experience is seamless. usually when I buy music I rip it on my Laptop and store it there. What will happen now is that it’s stored in a sync folder that automatically gets replicated to my Media Center and made available to play from there. Being a TDC customer (still) I have access to Play and this works the same way as I have authenticated my Media Center with Play too meaning all music can be played there too.
All I need now is the announced mobile integration that is somewhat available at m.mesh.com just without the client for mesh. I wonder what the plans are for skydrive…
